Same issue am having, the VSC light came up and now my mechancil said is coil number 2 that is bad. what should i do because when driving the egine is not running smoothly.

Have your mechanic replace that dead coil and check the spark plug at coil #2. The engine is not running smoothly with a misfire. The misfire will eventual cause other problems at the catalytic converter, over heating from un burnt fuel.
