If you need to get in now for an emergency, you can open it by lowering the back seat arm rest and using a long broom handle to flip the emergency trunk release. But you will have to remove the actual inner trunk panel once you have it open to see if the issue is mechanical or electrical. Do you hear any noises, such as the lock actuator working when you press the fob? If you do. you can try using lithium grease on the latch and linkage once the inner panel is off. also check the wiring harnesses electrical contacts, or it could be the lock actuator has failed if there is no noise and you would need to replace that.
