Asked by 64080jeff Jul 22, 2015 at 06:44 PM about the 2003 Nissan Xterra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have spent 3200 on repairs on our xterra which was in the shop for 3 mths and we just got it 4 days ago. It started making a loud noise the oil light started flashing. We took it back to the mechanic and he was rude and a didnt want to work on it. He told us it was just low on oil. WELL obviously he didnt put any in when he did all the work. Now when it starts up in the morning it wines and screams and runs sluggish

Nissan produces the most inconsistent cars from Japan. If you really want a good car, please consider a Honda, Toyota or Subaru.
