Nissan Sentra; 2005 - A/C works only in one position, the coolest, the number 4 position of the dial

My A/C is stuck in the 4th position [the coolest] when I try to move it down the A/C does not work at all. In other words, it works fine but only in the 4th position. It is annoying to have all that cold air blowing even when you do not need it. Help please.  Nissan Sentra; 2005

Change out your blower motor resistor. That is what controls your fan speeds.
