Catalistic converter

My 2006 Nissan repair engine has been on for
about 3 months. When I went to AutoZone
originally there diagnostic computer came up with
code pertaining to mass aur flow sensor. I replaced
it and computer was cleared. It's been to weeks
and here we go again, light on. This time codes
pertain to catalistic converter. Do I qualify for the
recall ? I don't understand that such a popular car
can have problems ,recalls one after the other?
What's the deal here....
