As mentioned in my answer to your previous question, try picking up a Haynes manual to get an idea of what compression specs should be. I would be more concerned with condition and levels of fluids, i.e. transmission fluid, coolant, oil, etc., as these are indicative of how well the vehicle has been serviced. I have never done a compression test on a used car that I purchased, and in over 20+ used cars to date, I have not had a problem. I generally check things like transmission feel and shifting from Park, brake pedal feel, etc.
