97 galant G4 engine carburetor

My 97 galant is making a pinging sound when idling, it gets louder when I REV
the engine, but goes away pulsating way. and it repeats has I park and restart
the car. the noise is louder from under the car. what could be making that
sound?

I fill up the oil pan. and no Jamaica is not cold now. the noise is hard to locate but its louder when i listen from under the engine. the engine is running good doe, just that noise. i also see where when the engine is cold it would stall if i give it any gas before it warms up.
