the motor runs but it is sluggish off the line then does ok once it shift into higher gears. it idols fine when I first start it but doesn't idol well once it has been driven a little while

Hi--I just got my alternator changed today on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS AWD, the D (drive) indicator does not light up when I shift to the drive position? All the rest do light up (R, N, 3, 2 & L)??? Also, ever since I bought the car I have not been able to use the horn, I noticed the horn fuse was missing, but when I put the fuse in, the horn beeps continuously??? I have a 1997 Mitsubish Montero Sport and I replaced my alternator today and all of sudden the SRS light came on and my interior lights will not turn on. Also when I drive the car it will not build up speed. I can drive it but it will to build up speed for take off. Could it be I blew a fuse or something else? 4 Answers
