I am thinking of buying a 1999 Eclipse but when it's idling for about 2 minutes it de-revvs down to where it seems to almost stall out. What could it be and should I buy it?

on my 2000 eclipse it just stoped as i was driving down the interstate,ive cheked the timing belt,its good. the pump seemed weak, so put a new one on it. then i was told it was fuel regulator so put a new one it, and still cant get it to run, i can feed it gas out of a bottle in through the throttle body and itll run, so what could be my problem? please help. 3 Answers
