My car gas trouble changing gear in drive. I have to change gear myself most of the time (triptronic). What could be wrong?

Asked by Rakau Nov 04, 2014 at 08:03 PM about the 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My partner thought it might be a fuel
issue. Its has been in the shop for the
last 4weeks and in that time we have
had both fuel filters replaced, fuel
lines flushed, 2 faults on the computer
fixed and it serviced. But it still isn't
running right and my bill is increasing.

Valiant, here's a dope slap of reality. Your Mitsubishi is almost 13 years old. The transmission can be shifted by hand. I shutter to think of the shop bill. Perhaps you can just live the transmission dilemma. Just a thought.
