Car won't start

Asked by Dariustroy Feb 10, 2016 at 04:08 PM about the 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 montereo sport ran out of gas
during a snow storm. It stopped in the
middle of the road so I try to turn it back on
hopefully itll have enough juice to just
move along the side , it started then cut
right off. I left it there for about two days
came back with a gallon of gas and tried to
start it .nothings happens. Thw car radio
wont turn on. Iont know what to do now. I
just tried jumping it it eventually cut on I let
run for a lil went up and down the street
turned it off and it wont start back up
again. I doubt its the battery because after
I tried to jump it again it dont start. When I
do try to start it I only hear one vlick and a
humming sound coming from the
passenger side. 5 minutes ago I just put a
new battery in and still nothing happens
when I turn the key. Lights only come on
once I take the battery out and back in but
once I turn to start it dies completely
