Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse and it revs to
3000 rpms then slams it self into gear what could
be wrong?

Mine did the same thing, after having the trans rebuilt several times, it ended up being the sensor that tells trans when to shift
