Car won't start.

Asked by Maranda May 18, 2016 at 12:50 PM about the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

One day I was on my way home & my car started
decreasing in speed . I go to start it and it makes
sound like it wanted to start. I got a jump, didn't
work. The battery light came on and it still wouldn't
work. And I just had my battery charged and it still
won't work. What's wrong with the car?

1 Answer

Could be alternator. If its out then the car is running off your battery causing a constant drain. It would eventually destroy your battery cells. Charging wouldn't help. New battery and check alternator.
