Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Works well up to 2200 rpm, beyond that torque falls off sharply.
Any ideas?

You don't mention what transmission -- auto or manual, but if automatic, I'd look to the torque convertor as the most likely culprit. Manual, perhaps clutch issue also.
