Question type: Car Customization

The car is a 92 colypso green hatch back with  a stock fairly low mileage 2.3l and 5 speed trans, would the  motor hold up with a turbo running low boost without flying apart? ive heard storys old older fellas that have did the same thing to pintos and they worked great and held together for along time. would it be better/ easier/ cheaper than a carburated V8 swap? thanks

ya it would work. as long as you dont turn the boost up and running the piss out of it, you shouldn't have a problem. If you are looking at more performance i would just upgrade to a 302 or 351.
