Tough one. Because of the clicking sound, I suspect the battery. What happens to the lights(have them on) when you turn key all the way and hear the clicking? If they go dim, you've got a dead batt, or a coroded battery cable connection. I'm more and more thinking, CLEAN THE BATTERY TERMINAL CONNECTIONS! Remove the cables and brush and scrape inside of termanals, and battery posts.
