Won't start

My car worked great all day. Stopped for
about 5 minutes, won't start. Battery new
cables clean

Just the engine turn over and try to start or is it just dead?

Follow the battery cables and check not only at the battery, but where the other end of the cables connect to. These connections including at the battery must be absolutely clean, free of corrosion and tight.
