Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 grand marquis, I have
replaced all 4 ball joints and the idle
bar, within the last 6 months. Now I
started getting steering wheel
"jimmy".  How can I find out what is
causing this problem?

No I didnt. But would it have taking 6 months for the jimmy to start? Also it started after I hit a pot hole lightly. When I grab the tire and pull I do here a sound. But don't hear anything when pulling the other front tire.

Anyway I can figure if the alienment isn't causing this. Since if it's the tie rods. Once I replace them I know I will need an alignment

Jack the car up and check the wheel for up and down movement (ball joint) or side to side movement (tie rod ends) or if both movements, possible wheel bearing

You over inflated your tires and ruined the integrity ,look for for swelling and bulges while spinning the wheel you will notice an egg shaped wheel never exceed spec inflation values
