how to connect all the electrical back together

A friend was helping take the battery and the electrical stuff apart so we could start in taking the transmition out and change it b/c it was going out. We arnt friends any more and dont know what went where and we dont want to guess and fry it. Can you help please.

Dear Jelly_Bean-- Sorry about your 1993 Mazda. Did you know that the electrical system in a car is as fussy as three kids in the back seat. Even an expert can screw it up without even trying. I think you need a professional now.
