replacing rear transmion seal on 93 Ford ranger

I have a 93 Ranger with a M50D-R1 5 Spd can you replace the rear seal from the outsid with a seal puller?

If this is the tailshaft seal, then yes.

Yes you can replace the rear seal from the outside . You will need to remove the rear drive shaft , before attempting to remove the seal. Expect to have some transmission fluid pour out when you remove the drive shaft and seal . Do not forget to top up the transmission level after you replace the seal and re-install the drive shaft.
