I have a 1993 automatic ford ranger with a 3.0 in it
can I put a transmission from 1 2001 3.0 ford
ranger in it

No. A 1993 model is OBD I but a 2001 is OBD II. They're completely different computer control systems and not compatible with each other at all. Hope that helps! Jim
