How do i get the stock exhaust tip off?

I was looking online at exhaust tips and decided to see how to get mine off before i bought one and i cant figure out how it come off. Is it welded on?
Can I remove it myself?

It is probably welded on, you can cut it off with a hack saw, but have to make sure new tips will end up where you want them.
