2018 Ram radio

Question type: General

It seems my used 2018 Ram was first bought and sold in Canada. It now
resides with me in the USA. I've been trying to work with Uconnect and Sirius
XM Guardian to set it up. I have subscriptions set up with both, however, the
app on my iPhone says no active subscription. After a lot of conversations with
both Uconnect and Sirius XM, I'm told I'll need to swap out my radio for one
from the US? Does this make sense? Everything in the vehicle is the standard
US not metric. I can make and receive calls but cannot add or access contacts
from my phoned to the system.

Some electronics will not work in other countries. I have no way of knowing if your radio is one of them. Perhaps Dodge can clear things up for you?
