house key stuck in ignition, cannot get out

house key accidentally stuck in ignition, cannot pull out.  what do i do?

contact a locksmith that works on vehicle locks, they can come out to the car.

The ignition lock will likely have to be replaced. I would be inclined to spray a lubricant on the house key and use a Vice Grip to remove the stuck key by pulling ....a steady....straight pull....then tapping the VG with a light hammer. When the key is removed...lub the key hole....and ... very carefully try to insert the correct key. If this procedure fails...you are back to square one. Locksmith....New ignition key....New lock. New learning experience.
