What happens to a  carburetor  When you run bad gas
though it?

Depends on what made the gas "bad". If it's dirt or debris, you'll have to take it off and clean it out, might need a push pin 5o clean out holes. If it's water, you may be able to drain the water out through a bleeder screw at the bottom of the float chamber. No screw means it has to come off and get dumped.
