I am putting the saginaw 456 tt trans mission behind an L-82 small block in a 1963 chevy c/10. Before I install, how strong and reliable is this transmission?

There were no major complaints about those transmissions so I think it would be a safe bet to use it.

Thanks,LightGear... That trans has a 3 groove input shaft with 3.50:1 1st geer... 2nd is 2.47... 3rd is 1.65 and 4th is 1:1. Should be lots of fun! Larry

Saginaw T-10 and the Muncie 4spd went into factory high performance autos from the 60's to the 90's. You can use the 456 tt to some degree but finding shifter parts will be difficult as they were used in limited quantity in the early 80's Camaro and Firebirds.
