mercedes 2.1 vs 3.0

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We are looking at a 19' RV.  One has a 2.1 liter engine and the other a 3.0.  
Price is very close.  I've seen the videos on power, speed up inclines and gas
mileage.  Other than the cost of fuel, are there other cost factors such as
maintenance or engine wear that we need to consider?

3.0 V6.....we have this engine...for a vehicle this size and weight... I would definitely recommend it.... although there's many people who have the 2.1 Four....main difference is the automatic transmission.....5 speed on the V6 and 7 speed for the FOUR..... You're going to notice it mainly on hills.

    I would suggest that no one buys an mercedes diesel in sprinter body. No one wants to service them. I live in El Paso, a city of one million and there is no warranty service for 300 miles.
