2000 Lincoln navigator ignition coil firing order

Asked by tdogdan Jan 16, 2018 at 02:14 PM about the 2000 Lincoln Navigator

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Which cylinder is the one that fires
first on the ignition coil?

1 Answer

157,485

That is done through the ECU (engine computer) via senor readings from the crankshaft sensor and others. Number 1 is considered first and is located on the passenger side of the engine at the front. Ford, Lincoln and Mercury engines have a different cylinder numbering system than most other makes.
