Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The transmission in the car will not go into the next gear. I went through the
light and realized that the car had not gone to the next hear and the trannie light
came on.
Any ideas

Fluid level may be low. that can happen if tranny cooling lines leak. You have to check tranny fluid with engine/tranny warmed up (15, 20 min), then shift through all gears, then check fluid with engine running and in park.
