Average fuel consumption

I have corolla 2017 sedan. It stated that the
average fuel consumption should be around
6.6L/100km but my car is at 9.4L/100km. Ive
been trying to improve the number for 3
weeks now. I was wondering if there could be
any other problem?

2017 Toyota Corolla/Warranty 3 yr/36,000 mi basic, 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain Have the dealer scan it with the Techstream tool and record fuel trims and ALL live data have it printed out.
