94 crown vic, Check eng light comes on when car is started and goes away when i apply gas, then returns after i get off the gas. any ideas?

Check your fluids like oil and antifreeze. Could be the alternator is not charging enough at idle or you're not getting enough oil pressure at idle if low on oil. radiator could be a little low also so check that. Good Luck, Kenny/MrBlueOval
