In regards to code P0507, I reviewed the code
online and wanted to know  would should be the
first step to replace my items?

IF you already reviewed online and want to try to fix it yourself, start with the easy things and ones that cost much money. Like check for vacuum leaks, dirty EGR and or throttle body.
