I fell into a ditch and the bottom of my 2016 hr-v has a big rip in it, would it be ok if I just ducktaped the whole up?

It's not worth getting the insurance raised, it's only like 8in long but would it hurt it bad to tape it?

It is an insurance issue. The structural integrity of the vehicle may be compromised. It may have real safety issues.

It didn't hit any part of the car except a little covering to protect things
