Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 95 bird with a 4.6 motor and it is automatic. I blew the engine up and so I am replacing it with a new 4.6 but its a 5 speed do I need to change any gear ratios in the rear end of my car??

you dont have to. But 3.73s or 4.10s will help it get up and goin quicker. Hurts gas a little but not bad. More fun too ;O)

Dont forget,to get the computer,out of the 5-speed car...You"ll need it..
