Scraping sound front end

Asked by Michelle Apr 27, 2016 at 10:35 PM about the 2015 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No one knows why the car would have a scraping
sound in the front passenger area? It's like
something is dragging underneath.

I am assuming you have looked under the car, also check under the hood on that side and the wheel well to make sure there isn't a piece of plastic from the well liner rubbing on the tire. the car is pretty new, best get it to the dealer it should be on warranty.

Sometimes cold/wet brake rotors will make a scraping noise but it usually goes away after driving for a bit.
