Something fell from under my car. Does anyone know what it is?

Asked by Reo Mar 22, 2016 at 10:54 PM about the 2015 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I think this fell out from under my car while I was leaving the parking lot. I
heard a "clink" and pulled over and there it was. It may have fell from the right
side of the car. I've been driving for a couple of days now and the car seems
fine but I'd like to make sure I don't end up in an accident. Could anyone
please tell me what this is?

If I had to guess i'd say it looks like a exhaust bracket.

Maybe even part of a gas tank strap. But why not jus take it to a nice mechanic that will put in up in air and take a look around? Don't guess, it probably is not dangerous but why take a chance?
