Phone Charging port suddenly stopped

Asked by GuruKVRDH Dec 05, 2019 at 04:58 PM about the 2015 Hyundai Tucson

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have two charging ports in my car, the one has always worked and I used it
often. The second one never seemed to work properly. Now neither work. I
know its not the cable or the phone, its the car. I feel like i blew a fuse or
something because it stopped working when my friend tried to plug hers in,
suddenly both wouldnt work. Is tehre a way to reset the fuse or is it
something else

Fuses usually blow and you have to replace them, no reset. Open the owners manual to find out where the fuses are located at and which one is on the circuit of the charging port and replace with the same amp fuse.
