Scarping noise Chevy Cruze

After starting my Chevy Cruze and drive
forward, at 12mph my automatic transmission
shifts to second gear, and I hear a scraping
noise coming from my drivers side wheel well.
I think I can even feel something if my foot is
on the wheel well inside my car. The odd part
is that, it only happens once the first time, and
only after the car has been shut off and
restarted back up will it make this sound again  
at the exact same 12mph.

Aside from a close visual inspection by yourself I would take it to a good tranny shop to have it scanned for codes or something

Could be a transmission band or clutch problem, a control unit problem, or maybe the fluid is just so low or contaminated, the trans can't handle it until it's warmed up. Check the fluid and if OK, have a trans shop diagnose this.
