I am having a problem with my 2015 Equinox stalling during takeoff and when going into reverse. And now it’s doing this while driving any time it wants to! And the ‘check engine’ light comes on intermittently. I had AutoZone test the car. Within 5 seconds they had an answer! The trouble was these codes: P0010, P0011 & P0011. In other words, the problem was with the Position Actuator Circuit or Engine Variable Timing Solenoid Intake. Auto Zone has the part at just $43. Questions: Has anybody else had this trouble? How easy is it to fix? Could I buy the part & do it myself?

I had the same issue. My truck would pulsate back & Forrh when stopped as if i was stepping on and off the brake. Sometimes it was rougher then other times but gradually became more persistent then it started stalling afterwards when I was stopped & it would rock then stall sometimes it would stall in reverse etc. I did get similar codes & had to replace intake & outake camshaft position actuator solenoid control valve. It resolved the issue temporarily but I started to pulsate again & stall like 6 months later. I have code reader & sometimes it’d read o2 sensors & a evap leak I think it was & othertimes only the leak or something completely different. I have 2012 & bought used it started about a year or so into having. Something isn’t right & Chevy needs to acknowledge it!
