My 78 Chevy van goes, then the power drops off. It doesn't stall and it idles just fine but will not sustain the power when starting off and will not get to hiway speed. Any suggestions?

Might just need a tune up and carb rebuild. It could be the carb accelerator pump dirty or needing replacment.
