Truck Cranks but Won't Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery was dying overnight (but not while
running) and would start with a jump.
I replaced the alternator and the car
started fine for over a month, sometimes
rough in the morning but always started.
Other day, car cranks but doesn't start.
Tried rolling it down the hill for a different
incline; still cranks, doesn't start.
Battery eventually drained from cranking.

Is the battery the likely culprit? If
charging/replacing the battery doesn't
work, what should I do next?

It's a 1975 Chevy P30.

No, the battery just got run down from turning it over, & not starting. Just recharge the battery. Next is what size is the motor? And so then you would have to check to see if there is spark from the coil wire.

I'm not really sure what size the engine is. It's a 6 cylinder, but that's all I know.
