94GCL is designated an "ZJ" this is your parts and service designation. I am 90% sure the 98JCS is an "XJ"

The years difference and body type make them a no. That is not 100% for powertrain. and accessories. Bad idea as a rule, but some things are similar or same.

It is also necessary to know that jeeps made by AMC that were purchased by MOPAR to refit to make them run are not the same build as jeeps made later by MOPAR. You can read the facts about their history on the allpar website,in the jeep section. since I personally worked on them before their sale ,new, I have seen this first hand. Those older ones are a concern if they are still running for age of plastic fuel lines and several recalls if they are still outstanding recalls for that VIN.
