i have a 95 grand cherokee and wen its lock the alarm goes off @ random times..does that mean theres sum electrical shortage or wat does it mean and how can i fix it??

You could have a bad ground at the battery! Or possibly a faulty do switch, assuming we are talking factory alarms. It could also have to do with battery voltage but if it go off chances are the battery isnt dead. Send me so more details maybe we can fix u up.

the battery is fairly new maybe like 3 or 4 months old. so wat ur sayin is the it could go off bcuz of a bad ground conection wit the battery?

and yes its a factory alarm.. coulda i replace the do switch or would i have replace the alarm system.

often times there is a door switch that has gone bad or your door just isnt hitting the switch properly. If your door pops or slides into position when you slam the door then re-adjust it. if that doesnt fix it, then its prob. the switch. common problem.
