1996 Jeep Cherokee runs terribly after an hour

It spitters/misfires after about an
hour of driving. I've already changed
the fuel filter and done work to the
distributor and plugs

Hey, it just happened again, I drive it for an hour and everything was fine, then it starts being very sluggish. I brought it home, sat in the driveway and it stalled out on it's own after 5- 10 minutes. I started it back up and it ran amazing in idol
