How do I customize functionality in my Passat that is not "turned on"?

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2014 Passat and I would like to know what the features are that are not enabled in my car (such wipers that are sensitive and turn on automatically like they do with my Audi and Passats in other countries) and how to turn them on. Any ideas? The dealer said that it is possible and the car's features support it but did not know how to turn it on. He suggested that I search the web (so far I have not found a solution). Thanks!

wipers are controled by the leaver on the right of your steering wheel. If the vehicle is equiped with an auto on sensor you would probley need to have a highline or above for it to be in your cars options. But if the control is any where it would be on that switch control arm for the wipers. the manuel states ther eis a button on there that you push in for it to work. most options that europiean cars have we don't commanly have in canada or the usa since they are built completely differently.

You need access to Ross Tech or Vagcom to change the settings in the car. The wipers aren't a good example though, because they require a sensor that's part of a different windshield and mirror housing with the sensor in them. However, the car can probably be programmed for things such as lane change signaling, door convenience features like the locking at 7 mph etc. Look at the Rosstech website; maybe it lists differences for different markets.
