2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ Check Gauge Light on in 3rd gear, sputtering and almost stalling up a hill

Asked by GuruTT6MZ Jun 20, 2018 at 05:02 PM about the 2001 Jeep Wrangler

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my husband took my Jeep to work this morning and on the way in to work
the check gauges light came on around 30-35mph and it sputtered and almost
died on the way up a hill. Last year I had a similar issue and replaced the
alternator, the cap and wiring, essentially everything. It ended up being the
ASD relay fuse. What could it be now?
