Should overdrive be used full time for country roads?

No. My wife has an 07 Liberty. Here in PA, with hilly/windy roads, it's recommended to only use overdrive at highway speeds. On country roads you get a lot of starting/stopping and speed changes, which causes the transmission to "hunt" more for the right gear with overdrive on. This can cause the trans to overheat in extreme situations. We always drive with O/D off unless on the highway.
