I was reading another post that had a similar problem and they said it was there battery. The gage for my battery doesn't move when I try to start the jeep would that be the most likely cause.

Just happened to me. Jeep dealer said $1209.00 cause engine wasn't excepting key. Well went to a friend of a friend and the $1209.00 job ended up costing $300.56 which was for a tow chg and 2 fuses. You know the rest! I love my Jeep and so happy things turned out as they did. No way would I have had the $120.9.00 for repairs.
