Mine does the same thing. This is the oil sending unit, AKA the oil pressure sensor. It is in the front of the engine just above the oil filter. It is an inexpensive part, but the issue may actually be the wiring...While I was replacing my oil sending unit, I noticed that the wire to the sensor felt old and the plastic shield around the wire was crumbling (possibly due to heat). After I replaced the part, my oil light was still on every time I started it. Turning the car off then turning back on again gets rid of the light, but it's just masking the issue. I have not fixed the wiring in mine, since mine has 178k on it, and I don't deem it worthy to spend the money fixing it.
