Change transmission from manual to automatic transmissikon

Can a 2005 2.4 Litre 6 speed manual transmission , Jeep Liberty be changed
over to an automatic transmission? If so what would be an average cost of this
operation?

There are different computer controls for different transmissions and changing a stick to an automatic would necessitate changing the Transmission control and maybe the computer, as well. Then you'd have to hope the rest of the car will work with all of that..... Cost of this would likely be more than the car's worth. It would be better to sell your Jeep and buy what you want all original.

Jeep automatics are junk, had to have mine overhauled at 80000 miles due to a bad snap ring. So stay with the stick shift your better off.
